Inovonics Recalls Pendants, Universal Transmitters and Receivers Due to Alarm Failure

monitorInovonics is recalling about 5,500 transmitters and receivers used as emergency call systems in assisted living communities and as security monitors in commercial buildings and private residences. The transmitters and receivers can fail to send or receive a signal for help.

Recalled models include EN1210, EN1223S, EN1233S and EN4232MR. The units can be mounted on doors or wall frames or worn on the neck, wrist or belt. They were sold through Inovonics dealers and distributors nationwide from March 2016 through June 2016 for between $105 and $700.

Consumers should stop using the products and contact Inovonics for a free replacement.
