The International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) has released IEC 60623:2016. This includes “Secondary cells and batteries containing alkaline or other non-acid electrolytes – Vented nickel-cadmium prismatic rechargeable single cells”. This pre-release version is a fifth edition and is now available on the IEC webstore.
