Hanging Pendant Lamps and Outdoor Ceiling Fans Recalled

Crate and Barrel has recalled their Finely Collection pendant lamps due to fire and shock hazards and Emerson Air Comfort Products has issued a recall for the Tommy Bahama outdoor ceiling fans due to risk of injury.

The pendant lamps are being recalled because the lamp’s wires can be incorrectly installed. There wires’ polarity labels can fall off or be mislabeled, posing fire and shock hazards to consumers. The lamps have white or wheat (off-white) linen large, small drum or rectangular lamp shades. They have a 9-inch long silver electrical wire with tandem metal support cables and chrome-plated steel ceiling plate.

Emerson Air Comfort Products is recalling approximately 3000 Tommy Bahama outdoor ceiling fans because the brackets holding the fan blades can break and cause the blades to fall, posing a risk of injury.  The fans were sold under the “The Copa Breeze” style name online at Emersonfans.com and Amazon.com from April 2012 through July 2012.
