GPS Equipped Helmet to Guide Motorcyclists

|

Live_Map02jpgA Russian startup company has invented a high tech helmet featuring built in GPS navigation for motorcyclists. The GPS navigation is presented directly in the field of vision to avoid the need for multi-device use and offers voice control recognition for hands free operation.

The helmet is constructed from carbon fiber, is light weight, and will meet international standards. It is equipped with earphones and microphone for voice control, as well as a microdisplay to project full color images onto the visor. A small geographic map projects to the center providing directional guidance to motorists sporting the helmet. Using extended batteries, the helmet can support a full day on a single charge and can be easily recharged via USB connection.
