Galaxy Note 7 Recalled by Samsung

Samsung Electronics is recalling all of its Galaxy Note 7 smartphones. The phones’ batteries may explode or catch fire. The recall is expected to be worldwide. There have been 2.5 million units sold, and units are being pulled from shelves. China is not affected as the batteries used came from a different manufacturer.

There have been 35 reported incidents, but no injuries. Consumers should be able to exchange their phones in about two weeks.
