Formula Hybrid Competition Being Held at Dartmouth College

Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth College will be hosting the 8th annual Formula Hybrid Competition. This four-day competition features racing of high-performance hybrid and electric race cars that engineering students build themselves.

Students from 24 schools from across the United States, Canada, India and Turkey will partake in time trials and races at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway. The students are allowed to race up to 50 mph, but the vehicles they build have the capability to reach speeds of 90 mph.
