Sunbeam Products, Inc. has recalled over 151,000 Holmes oscillating ceramic heaters because the heaters can overheat posing a fire hazard to consumers. The heaters were sold in major retailers from August 2013 to March 2014.
The recalled heaters are 12 inches tall, 8.5 inches wide and 5.5 inches deep and come in black, purple, red, blue and white. There have been 132 incidents reported of heaters suddenly stop working and/or overheating and 10 reports of property damage that resulted in burned floors.
