FCC and Department of Education Release Cybersecurity Resource Guide

The U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and the U.S. Department of Education (DoE) have published a resource guide designed to help schools and libraries protect their broadband networks from cybersecurity threats.

The jointly-prepared resource guide, titled “Cybersecurity Resource Recommendations,” provides details on the most impactful actions that schools and libraries can take to mitigate their risk. The guide also offers several low- and no-cost options that schools and libraries can consider to secure their systems from data breaches, ransomware attacks, and other cyber threats.
