FCC Accepting Applications for Pathways Program

The U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has announced that it is now accepting applications for its Pathways Program, which offers recent college graduates with an electronics engineering background the opportunity to work alongside professionals in the Commission’s Office of Engineering and Technology.

The program offers a one-year development program that features on-the-job training by FCC staff in both the agency’s policy and rulemaking process as well as technical training covering a variety of telecommunications services and technologies. The one-year appointment may also lead to permanent employment with the FCC.

Applicants must be U.S. citizens and have completed a qualifying degree or certificate program with a qualifying educational institution within the previous two years. Veterans of military service are given up to six years from program completion to apply.
