Representatives from Canada, the United States and Mexico are meeting this week in Ottawa to continue to coordinate efforts to enhance safety standards throughout North America.
The Second North American Consumer Product Safety Summit brings representatives together to share risk assessment techniques, build consumer education programs and strengthen the ability to issue consumer product recalls. The summit will also look to establish goals for importing and market surveillance and enforcement, injury surveillance, risk assessment and standards development.
