Keysight Technologies, Inc. announced the addition of two higher temperature models to its thermal imagers’ portfolio. The U5856A and U5857A can perform temperature measurements up to 650 degrees C and 1200 degrees C respectively. This allows users to detect a wide temperature range for various applications such as petrochemical and steel processing, electrical and mechanical applications, building maintenance and even electronics applications.
With the shift towards predictive maintenance in industrial settings, the U5850 series allows technicians and engineers to efficiently and safely detect abnormalities without shutting down the system. Keysight’s U5850 series TrueIR thermal imagers is among the first in its range of thermal imagers that include four times in-camera fine resolution of 320 x 240 pixels from a 160 x 120 pixel detector. Together with the manual focus feature, allowing users to focus on an object as close as 10 cm, our solution provides clearer, sharper and reveals finer details to detect problems even faster.
The U5850 series offers image logging and temperature trending capabilities to monitor temperature changes overtime for accurate quality checks and diagnostic purposes. With a good 0.07 degree C thermal sensitivity, users can capture, save and analyze temperature changes accurately. With the easy-to-use customizable color palette, users can now customize the right color palettes for their applications.
