The Radio Equipment Directive Explained - York EMC Services

The Radio Equipment Directive 2014/53/EU (RED) is a new Directive which replaced the Radio and Telecommunications Terminal Equipment Directive (R&TTE Directive) 1999/5/EC on 13th June 2016, with a one year transition period.

There are a number of major differences between the new RED and the one it will replace including the scope of the directive.

This course discusses all of these differences in order to help those affected by the changes understand the implications of the new legislation.
