The EMC Directive Explained

The EMC Directive Explained is a one-day course providing a full understanding of the current EMC Directive 2014/30/EU, which came into force on 20^th April 2016, replacing 2004/108/EC with no transition period.

It includes comprehensive guidelines on the requirements and contents of EMC documentation including Technical Documentation and the Declarations of Conformity (DoC); essential aspects of ensuring compliance with the EMC Directive.

The provisions of this Directive affect not just Manufacturers but also Authorized Representatives, Importers and Distributors in the EU. The implications of these provisions will be discussed in this course.

It is illegal to sell or operate electronic equipment or systems that are not compliant with the EMC Directive within the European Economic Area.
