EMC Europe 2020

Dear Colleagues,

After a long evaluation of the current worldwide situation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, we hereby would like to inform you about our decision regarding the International Symposium on Electromagnetic Compatibility – EMC Europe 2020.

The health and safety of our participants is our first priority, therefore we have decided that EMC Europe 2020 will be held virtually as a fully online conference from September 23rd to 25th 2020.

The high-quality technical results achieved – at the end of the peer review process 292 papers have been accepted from 39 countries – encourage us to go forward with the organization adopting a virtual solution, which has been an excellent strategy during this difficult time, given the current restrictions and limitations.

All regular sessions, special sessions, workshops, tutorials, industrial forums, exhibition, ceremonies, etc., will be held online, in both real-time as well as on-demand, to accommodate the different time zones of all participants. The organizing committee is already planning accordingly, to ensure an interactive and engaging online event.

Publications are not affected by the new online conference format, as all accepted papers will be published in IEEE Xplore. Detailed information and instructions for authors of presenting papers on how to prepare for a virtual presentation will follow in a separate email.

Fees have been reduced in order to allow as many as possible to join the new experience of EMC EUROPE 2020.

We extend our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to our technical community for your understanding and the community engagement. We are fully committed to have a great event at EMC Europe 2020 with your support and personal participation.

The virtual solution offers the great opportunity to keep an active interaction even from a distance, maintaining the focus on the high technical and scientific levels of conference.
