The new Mini Zero Volt Ionizer 2 (ZVI 2) neutralizes electrostatic charges on insulators and ungrounded conductors in a 6” x 24” area. The Mini ZVI 2 offers improvements over the original ZVI. The Mini ZVI 2 has greater air flow (33-51 CFM) and reduced decay times as low as 1.6 seconds at 12”. The compact size of 5.3”H x 3.5”W x 1.7”D makes it ideal for use in small spaces such as environmental chambers and around automated equipment. It doesn’t take up much space on a work bench.
Steady-state DC operation offers a ±5 Volt offset voltage balance. Solid tungsten emitters maintain sharp points for optimum ionizer performance. Wider emitter spacing helps prevent ion recombination, increasing decay efficiency and achieving broader ionization coverage area.
Other features include shielded bearings and stainless steel housing and stand to minimize contamination in clean or sensitive areas. NIST calibration with certificate is included with the Mini ZVI 2. The Mini ZVI 2 is packaged with a 100-240VAC power adapter and includes interchangeable plugs that serve North America, United Kingdom, Japan, Asia, and Europe.
