EMC PARTNER AG has introduced the ESDEX series, a new line of electrostatic discharge (ESD) generators designed for compliance testing up to 30 kV. Available in 8 kV, 16 kV, and 30 kV configurations, the ESDEX series supports interchangeable RC networks for full compliance with current international ESD test standards, including IEC 61000-4-2 Ed.3, ISO 10605, RTCA DO-160 Section 25, and MIL-STD-461 CS118.
The ESDEX series is engineered for extended ESD testing sessions, with a precisely balanced, ergonomically optimized design that allows effortless movement at any angle or direction. Programmable side buttons enable single-hand operation, and a rechargeable battery with USB-C fast charging reaches 80% in approximately 80 minutes.
A 4″ capacitive touchscreen with wide viewing angle and high responsiveness replaces traditional resistive displays, providing a modern, efficient user interface. Operators can create custom test plans, generate reports directly on the generator in PDF, CSV, or HTML format, and take advantage of advanced connectivity for smart, networked operation.
The modular architecture of the ESDEX series allows users to configure the generator to specific application requirements, making it suitable for a broad range of testing environments:
