CST will be presenting the latest developments of CST EMC STUDIO® (CST EMCS) at booth #609.
Identifying EMC/EMI issues early in the product design cycle can lead to huge time and money savings later on. CST EMCS can be used to design and simulate virtual prototypes, in order to analyze radiated and conducted emissions and susceptibility of electronic products. Signal traces, cable harnesses, connectors, vents and seams can all potentially give rise to EMC/EMI problems. CST EMCS includes both specialized solvers and general purpose full-wave solvers from the industry leading simulation tool CST STUDIO SUITE®, suitable for simulating devices from smartwatches to aircraft carriers efficiently.
The new Interference Task allows a system-level analysis of co-site interference on a device or platform. From a 3D simulation of coupling paths between antennas and signal lines, the Interference Task calculates the EMI margin between pairs of channels or RF systems, helping engineers to identify issues and mitigate them. Together with the 3D solvers, this offers a powerful solution for EMC analysis.
