Comtest Engineering recently celebrated its 30th anniversary. Ever since the founding in 1985 the company has distinguished itself with high quality products and services. In contrast to the early years, Comtest’s focus in 2015 is on the engineering and supply of comprehensive test chamber solutions for EMC and Microwave testing, as well as RF shielded rooms.
After 30 years it’s time for founder and managing director Hein de Groot to officially hand over the company to his successor and first born son Bas de Groot. Bas has been working with Comtest engineering since 2001 and took over the position of managing director as of September 1st, 2015. Hein will gradually phase out in the coming years and shift his focus from the day-to-day operation toward the engineering and R&D departments.
On behalf of all team members of Comtest Engineering, Bas and Hein sincerely thank all customers and partners with whom Comtest sucessfully co-operated over the last 30 years. Bas has full confidence in the future and it is his ambition to expand Comtest’s strong reputation and market position in the upcoming years. In line with the traditions of being a family owned business he strives to lead the company another three decades, allowing the next generation to take over 30 years from now!
