CE North America Expands KUL Fan Heater Recall

|

KUL-Fan-HeaterIn February 2016, CE North America recalled  28,000 KUL fan heaters because they can overheat, posing a fire hazard. Now the company has added an additional 8,500 units to the list of recalled portable heaters. There has been one report of the fan heaters overheating and catching on fire. No injuries or property damage have been reported.

While the original recall included black fan heaters sold at Bed Bath and Beyond, the expanded recall includes white fan heaters that were sold exclusively at H-E-B grocery stores. They were sold in Texas from September 2015 through December 2015 for about $15. The KUL logo is printed on the front bottom of the heaters next to the power dial. Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled fan heaters and return them to CE North America for a full refund.
