Raytheon’s Integrated Defense Systems (IDS) business presented CDM Electronics a 4-Star Supplier Excellence award at Raytheon’s Operational Excellence Conference on June 7, 2016, in Danvers, Massachusetts. The award recognizes suppliers that consistently deliver outstanding service and partnership in exceeding customer requirements. CDM provides interconnect products and value-added services to Raytheon for programs that include Global Patriot Solutions combat-proven missile defense architecture, Global Hawk air vehicle, and Clear View™ security solutions.
This year there were more than 3,000 candidates, and only 159 suppliers received an Operational Excellence Supplier Award, placing CDM in the top 5% of eligible nominees. Candidates were judged on product quality, on-time delivery, and exceptional performance. To qualify for the 4-Star designation, suppliers had to ensure no defects and 97.5 percent on-time delivery for a minimum of ten shipments over at least one year.
