CDM Electronics has announced that its Turnersville, NJ facility has achieved accreditation to the AS9100 International Aerospace Quality System Standard. The AS9100 standard incorporates the entirety of ISO 9001:2008 along with approximately 100 additional requirements specific to aerospace product safety and reliability. Rev. C is the most recent revision to the standard, which relates to the stringent demands of the defense and commercial aerospace industry.
The AS9100 standard provides companies with a comprehensive quality management system (QMS), developed expressly for the aerospace industry, and is recognized by all major aerospace OEMs. It directly influences the requirements for product configuration management, product design, purchasing, product realization, and product monitoring /measurement.
CDM’s Turnersville, NJ facility specializes in maintaining an extensive inventory of standard and specialty connectors including circular, MIL-Spec, DIN, power, PROFIBUS, rectangular, and RF devices.
