Cascade TEK Installs Fourth “Walk-In” Temperature Humidity Test Chamber

To meet increased demand for reliability testing of large products, Cascade TEK has installed an 823 cubic foot temperature humidity walk-in chamber at its Longmont, Colorado test facility.

The large working space of this chamber is over 10’ deep x 9’ tall x 11’ wide, with a temperature range of -65C to +60C with 10% to 95% humidity. It can handle up to a 20 kW live load during temperature pull downs.

“We are thrilled to increase our capacity for testing large products. This installation marks the fourth walk-in temperature humidity chamber at Cascade TEK. It’s also ideal for ISTA pre-conditioning of large pallets,” said Mary Babitz, VP of Cascade TEK.

Mastering High Voltage: The Importance of Accurate Test Equipment

This whitepaper underscores that precise calibration of high-voltage test gear — especially when measuring 1 kV–150 kV systems — is essential for safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance. It details measurement techniques (voltage dividers, step-down transformers, etc.), the impact of environmental and connection factors on accuracy, and why traceable calibration (e.g. to NIST / A2LA) is a must to ensure consistent, reliable results.
