ALDI Recalls Lumina Electric Blankets

Lumina electric blanketALDI stores in Australia are issuing a second recall of the Lumina electric blankets in single, queen and king sizes from 2010, 2012 and 2013. The cord between the controller and the blanket may short circuit or cause arcing, posing a risk of fire or electric shock.

The blankets were supplied by Global Source Trading Pty Ltd and sold in ALDI stores between April 2010 and April 2013. Model numbers include EB91SB,  EB193QB, and EB203KB.

Users should stop using the blanket immediately and return it to their local ALDI store for a refund.
