Agilent Technologies’ UXM Wireless Test Set Accelerates Marvell’s LTE-Advanced Category 7 Chipset Development

Agilent Technologies Inc. announced the successful verification of full Category 7 data throughput with Marvell’s latest chipset design using the new Agilent E7515A UXM wireless test set.

Agilent and Marvell worked in concert to achieve sustained bidirectional 300 Mbps downlink/100 Mbps uplink data throughput using 3GPP release 10 downlink and uplink carrier aggregation.

“This milestone represents yet another example of the powerful capabilities of the new UXM platform,” said Guy Séné, Agilent president, Electronic Measurement. “The UXM’s future-ready architecture is designed to meet today’s 4G test challenges and much more. This exciting accomplishment demonstrates Agilent’s commitment to delivering industry-leading test solutions to the wireless market.”
