Agilent Technologies has released a new application note on 802.11ad, “Wireless LAN at 60GHz – IEEE 802.11ad Explained” covers in detail the proposed 802.11ad, providing up to 7 Gbps throughput using approximately 2 GHz of spectrum at 60 GHz over a short range. The application note addresses the latest requirements and challenges of the higher data throughput needed to support today’s “unwired office”.
