A&M College of Engineering Announced the Recipient of the 100,000th Engineering Degree

Earlier this month, the Dwight Look College of Engineering reached a milestone by awarding the 100,000th engineering degree during its spring 2014 commencement ceremonies. Ammon Berrios received the 100,000th engineering degree, a bachelor’s degree in industrial and systems engineering.

During the commencement ceremony, over 1,400 undergraduate, master’s and doctoral degrees were presented.  Dr. M. Katherine Banks, vice chancellor and dean of engineering,  stated “reaching this milestone is a cause for celebration.”  A “100,000 Strong” lapel pin was given to all engineering graduates as a symbol of the milestone.
