Experiential Engineering Lab Receives $1.9 Million Grant for Lab Equipment | In Compliance Magazine

The U.S. Economic Development Administration (EDA) has awarded a grant to Wichita State University to purchase laboratory equipment to outfit the experiential engineering building on the Innovation Campus.

The equipment and software purchased will allow lab visitors to simulate and perform multi-robotic additive manufacturing. The lab equipment will also be used for training engineering students, and current and new workforce in simulation and additive manufacturing technology. The advanced manufacturing laboratory is comprised of two divisions, a large-scale virtual environment for feasibility assessments and multi-robotic addictive manufacturing facility for prototyping.
