KOA Speer Adds 1 Watt 1206 Size Metal Plate Chip Current Sense Resistor

KOA Speer Electronics introduces the TLR2BW metal plate chip current sense resistor, featuring a 1 watt power rating in a 1206 chip size, and a low resistance of 1 mΩ ~ 20 mΩ. The metal alloy of the TLR2BW provides superior corrosion and heat resistance, with small size SMD type metal plate providing low resistance for current detection.

KOA Speer’s TLR2BW resistor has a TCR of ±75 ppm with a 1% resistance tolerance and an operating temperature range of  -65°C ~ +170°C. In addition, the TLR2BW is AEC-Q200 qualified.

Used primarily for current detection, TLR2BW current sense resistors are ideal for transportation, industrial, telecommunications and consumer electronics markets, in applications such as DC-to-DC power converters, power supplies, computing devices, tablets, and automotive electronics.

A Dash of Maxwell’s: A Maxwell’s Equations Primer – Part Two

Maxwell’s Equations are eloquently simple yet excruciatingly complex. Their first statement by James Clerk Maxwell in 1864 heralded the beginning of the age of radio and, one could argue, the age of modern electronics.
