Gemini Manufacturing has issued a recall for approximately 31,000 power adaptors/chargers that were distributed as promotional giveaways at tradeshows between October 2013 and April 2014. The adaptors can overheat posing a burn hazard.
The adaptors have a USB port on one side and two prongs for plugging into an electrical outlet on the other side. The model number ADCP3-1000 is imprinted on the plug side of the adaptor and came in five different colors: black, blue, green, red, and white. Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled adaptors/chargers and discard them.
