KOA Speer Introduces New 3 Watt Current Sensing Metal Plate Chip Resistor

KOA Speer Electronics has introduced its new TLR, 3W current sensing metal plate chip resistor in a 2512 package.  The TLR3AP provides an ultra-low resistance of 0.5mO ~10mO.

KOA Speer’s TLR3AP resistor features a T.C.R. of ±50 and ±75 and a 1% tolerance rating. The resistor’s metal alloy substrate provides superior corrosion and heat resistance.  These features combined with its ultra-low height and thickness of 0.6mm makes it suitable for use in small equipment.  It has a wide temperature range from as low as -65°C up to +155 °C.

KOA’s TLR3AP resistor is AEC-Q200 qualified making it ideal for the transportation  industry, as well telecommunications, consumer electronics and industrial markets, in current sensing applications such as DC to DC conversion, inverter power supplies, CPU current sensing and motor controls.
