LSU College of Engineering has completed their capital campaign to improve and expand their engineering college three months ahead of schedule. The campaign brought in more than the $100 million partnership goal needed for renovations and an addition to their engineering offerings.
The campaign was launched in April 2013 and over 450 individual and corporate sponsors donated $52.5 million in funds. These donations were in addition to the college’s commitment to renovate the Patrick F. Taylor Hall and create a new chemical engineering addition. The renovation will support Louisiana’s engineering workforce needs and anticipates to graduate annually 1,150 engineers, computer scientists and construction managers.
