The signing of this statement of cooperation between the IEC and the Russian Federal standardization and conformity assessment agencies is a large step in supporting increased trade with Russia.
The cooperation will work to eliminate excessive regulation of electrotechnical products and increasing the acceptance of certificates issued by the IEC System for Conformity Assessment of Electrotechnical Equipment and Components (IECEE). This is another step towards “one test, one certificate, all markets” vision set forth by the IECEE.
