Cleveland State University is moving forward on its mission to create one of the strongest engineering programs in the country being the recipient of a $10 million gift.
The gift will go towards scholarships and renovations to the 1920s-era building that currently houses the Fenn College of Engineering. Earlier this week, University trustees voted to rename the college to the Washkewicz College of Engineering.
Donald Washkewicz, president and CEO of Parker Hannifin Corporation and his wife Pamela, gave $5 million and another $5 million was received from the Parker Hannifin Foundation.
