ON Semiconductor has significantly expanded its portfolio of AEC-Q100 and AEC-Q101 qualified standard components designed for demanding automotive applications.
The first of the new introductions are ON Semiconductor’s 100 percent ‘avalanche’ energy tested NVMFS single and NVMFD dual families of N-Channel, logic level, power MOSFETs. These devices deliver a combination of low on resistance and high current capability while minimizing conduction losses and ensuring robust load performance in demanding automotive powertrain, safety and body control module applications including direct fuel injection, air bag, HVAC and hybrid electronic systems.
Designed to protect FlexRay™ transceivers from electrostatic discharge (ESD) and other harmful transient voltage events, the new NUP2115LT1G transceiver ESD protection diode provides bidirectional protection for each data line and is designed to deliver the highest possible signal integrity. Packaged in a compact SOT-23 package, the NUP2115LT1G gives the system designer a way of improving system reliability and exceeds stringent electromagnetic interference (EMI) requirements.
The company’s automotive qualified NSV1C family of SOT-23 and SOT-223 packaged 100 volt (V), 2 amp (A) PNP and NPN ultra-low saturation voltage (VCEsat), high current sourcing bipolar transistors are highly energy efficient helping to minimize demand on the vehicle battery.
The introduction of the NCV857x and NCV87xx series of high performance, post regulation Low Drop Out (LDO) voltage regulator series, offers improved performance and extended temperature ranges from – 40 degrees to +125 degrees Celsius (°C).
