The International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) has released IEC 61605:2016. This includes “Fixed inductors for use in electronic and telecommunication equipment – Marking codes.” This standard is now available on the IEC webstore.
Description: “IEC 61605:2016(E) specifies marking codes for fixed inductors. It covers the inductance values and their tolerances as well as dates. This edition includes the following significant technical changes with respect to the previous edition:
a) The date code system for fixed inductors has been updated.”
