The ARRL, the national association of amateur radio operators, is seeking nominations for its 2015 International Humanitarian Award.
According to the ARRL, the annual Humanitarian Award is given to an amateur radio operator or group of operators “who demonstrate devotion to human welfare, peace and international understanding through Amateur Radio.” The annual prize was established to recognize operators who have used amateur radio technology to “provide extraordinary service to others in times of crisis or disaster.”
The deadline for submitting nominations for the 2015 award is December 31.
