FCC to Launch Redesigned Website

The U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is set to officially launch its newly redesigned website next Thursday, December 10th, at www.fcc.gov.

According to the Commission, the switchover to the new site will begin Wednesday evening, December 9th at 8:00pm (EST) and conclude four hours later, at 12:00am (midnight) December 10th.

The FCC says that the redesigned website is based on extensive user research to provide increased functionality and improved navigability and searchability. The website has also been optimized to work with tablet and mobile device browsers, improving the experience for visitors regardless of their chosen platform. At the same time, the Commission says it has worked to ensure that all web addresses that users might have saved or bookmarked will automatically redirect visitors to the relevant content.

This versatile field device generates signals that mimic various sensors to test and calibrate equipment. It helps technicians troubleshoot connections and verify system performance. Portable and battery-powered, it's designed for on-site diagnostic work in industrial environments.

While the FCC expects a smooth transition to the new website, it encourages users to send feedback on any issues or problems they encounter in using the new website.
