Recall of Sterile Compounded Products

An Arkansas medical compounding company has announced a nationwide recall of all lots of its sterile compound products due to concerns over its sterility assurance practices.

The company, U.S. Compounding, Inc. of Conway, Arkansas, is recalling hundreds of sterile human and veterinary medical preparations distributed to patients, healthcare providers, hospitals and clinics between March 14, 2015 and September 9, 2015, and that are still within their specified date of expiration.

Not included in the recall are non-sterile compounded medications prepared by the company.
