225,000 Rayovac LED Flashlights Recalled Due to Burn Hazard

Spectrum Brands are recalling three different models flashlights due to a burn hazard because batteries can overheat and melt the flashlight’s plastic casing. The CPSC has received reports of 12 flashlights overheating and melting while in use.

The three models included in the recall are: Rayovac LED Industrial (model ILED2AA), Rayovac Value Bright LED (model BRSELED2AA-BA) and Rayovac Value Bright (model BRSELED2AA-BDGDI) flashlights. All three models use two AA batteries and are about 6 ½ inches long and the flashlight head is about 1 1/3 inches in diameter. The flashlights are red, blue, green or black with yellow in color and Rayovac is printed on the head of the flashlight.

Check to see if your flashlight is being recalled and the steps to receive a full refund from Spectrum Brands.
