200W Smart Amplifier Module Purpose-Built for Critical C-UAS and EW Applications

Empower RF Systems has released the Model 1240, a compact RF amplifier module delivering a guaranteed minimum of 200 watts across the 900 to 1700 MHz range. Built for electronic warfare (EW) and counter-unmanned aerial systems (C-UAS), the module expands Empower RF’s line of tactically deployable, high-reliability solutions.

The Model 1240 is a full gain smart module built on GaN transistor technology, with integrated control and monitoring features that maintain consistent RF performance across environmental conditions. Its compact, high-density form factor suits mobile, airborne, shipboard, and ground-based defense platforms where space, weight, and reliability are priorities.

The module’s 900 to 1700 MHz coverage aligns with operationally significant bands, including GSM and cellular frequencies used for signal denial, GPS and GNSS L-band frequencies (L1, L2, L5) used for positioning and navigation, and the 900 MHz ISM band used for drone command links and video transmission.
