The Whorton-led IGEL promotes awareness of sustainable business practices through research, events, and dialogue within various sectors such as academic, corporate, government, and non-governmental organizations. ERI, an e-Stewards and R2 certified electronic waste recycler, will collaborate with IGEL on sustainability solutions for businesses. Combining academic knowledge with business resources, the newly-formed partners will work to find ways to minimize e-waste and set best practices for electronic recycling.
